I saw this on Girl With The Dogs and thought I’d try it on my cats. I have two British Short Hairs, one blue and one red, who have slightly different textured fur, although brothers. This works great on them both, they were very chilled out with it, though it’s a slightly different technique as the fur doesn’t get trapped on any bristles. I like that it is very gentle, as one has been diagnosed with IBD and i think this will be less aggressive on his skin than a standard brush. Will be ordering another for my sister’s cats.

Works effectively on my black cat. She is happy being groomed and it does remove the undercoat and prevent shedding. I’ve also bought one for my sister’s ragdoll cats and she says it works on their longer hair too.
